About Us
After 3 years of hard work ATTAC is now fully recognized by Abu
Dhabi Chamber Of Commerce and Industry and Abu Dhabi Municipality.
Due to the success of ATTAC more travel agencies has opened, i.e.:
Year 2000 around 75 travel agencies were operating on both Abu Dhabi
and Al Ain now the number has jumped to 215 travel agents.
Committee's
Objectives
- To introduce
a regulatory system for the purpose of eliminating large-scale
unethical practices within the Travel Industry, which are the
main causes of unfair competition amongst the Travel Agencies.
- To guide
and assist future members of Committee in enhancing their professional
capabilities, for improved travel services to public.
- To submit
from time to time recommendations to the concerned official authority
as far the means and steps to be introduced in order to further
the development of the travel trade in line with international
norms and practices.
- To maintain
a close cooperation with the operating Airlines in Emirate Abu
Dhabi through the Board of Airlines Representatives (BAR) and/
or individual basis for the mutual interest of both parties.
